Harper Sakaue

A native of Bellevue, Washington, Harper Sakaue was ordained by Clearwater Japanese Baptist Church in California. He was incarcerated at Rowher Relocation Center in Arkansas where he served on the Ministers’ Council. After leaving Rowher, he attended Union Theological Seminary in New York before returning to pastor Japanese Baptist Church in Clearwater. He later relocated to the Bay Area where he pastored several Methodist churches until his death in 1966.
